Keila Garcia

My name is Keila Garcia, I attended Friends University and graduated with a BA in communications with an emphasis in media studies in 2019. I was in college for 5 years. I decided to go to college, and pursue journalism because it was something I have always been passionate about. I realized it wasn’t what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, so I decided to change my career path, and now I have been doing marketing since 2019 and I really enjoy it.

Carlos Montes-Aviles

My name is Carlos Montes-Aviles. I’m a speech and language pathologist. I’ve been in my career for about 11 years now. I decided to open my own private practice, and now we have been open for about 5 years. We work with kids who are mainly bilingual. A lot of them only speak Spanish actually, so we do therapy in both English and Spanish.

Vianey Gonzalez

My name is Vianey Gonzalez and I just graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelors degree in elementary education. What motivated me to pursue a higher education is that since nobody in my family has graduated from college, I really wanted to make my parents proud, but make myself proud too. I knew I was capable of doing it and there was really nothing holding me back. I was able to prove to myself that I can overcome all of the obstacles.

Tais Solis
